About Me

I'm a wife and mom who loves to craft, organize, garden, take pictures and find the beauty in every day life. I prefer morning over night, still believe good always triumphs over evil and that it is how we choose to view the world that determines the quality of our lives.

We all love our little furry family members, don't we?  But with the hot summer days come the pesky pests that like to attack our babies.  This past weekend, I mixed up a batch of homemade flea and tick repellant and sprayed both Phantom and Oscar.  The vinegary smell may bother some, but it's worth it to keep them and the rest of our family safe.  Here's the recipe:

Homemade Flea and Tick Repellant

Ingredients:
1 Cup Water
2 Cups White Distilled Vinegar
2 tsp. Vegetable Oil
3 tsp. Lemon Juice

Directions:

Mix all ingredients and put in spray bottle.  Liberally spray your pet's dry coat, staying away from sensitive areas (eyes, nose, mouth and genitals).

Oscar Wilde wanted his face-time, too:
